Paige Stephens, OD
Dr. Paige Stephens, OD is a certified Optometrist & offers a comprehensive range of optometric services, specializing in the diagnosis & management of various ocular diseases. With a residency completed in glaucoma research. She also provides specialized care for macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, & treating dry eye. In addition to these specialized services, Dr. Stephens conducts routine comprehensive eye exams & offers expert fittings for glasses & contact lenses.
As a Kansas native, she pursued her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas, while competing as a Division I Athlete on the KU rowing team. She went on to graduate with honors while obtaining her Doctor of Optometry degree at Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon in 2017. At Pacific University. Dr. Stephens quickly became involved with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity & journeyed to El Salvador, India, & Cambodia where she & her colleagues brought basic vision services to those in need. She later became president of the organization & received the Lion’s Club Community Service Award for her work. She was also honored with Pacific University’s “Student of the Year” award in 2014. After graduating Dr. Stephens pursued an academic residency at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM where she participated in glaucoma research. Dr. Stephens has published multiple posters & presented her findings at the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Stephens grew up enjoying ski trips & summer vacations exploring the Rocky Mountains. As an adult she has traveled throughout the US & to many foreign countries; most recently backpacking throughout South America. Her love of the outdoors; hiking, biking, camping, & snowboarding, have made living in Colorado a great fit & she is happy to call it home.
